Report：Cycling Tour in Ashikaga on 24, Nov. 足利モニターツアーレポート（11月24日）

11月24日、栃木県足利市で、モニターツアーが実施されました。

当日は秋晴れ！　当地名物の「赤城おろし」もなく、暖かいくらいの気温の中、6名の方に参加していただきました。

We organized a monitor cycling tour on 24, Nov. in Ashikaga, Tochigi.
It was lovely day!  And it was so warm, without strong down wind which is usually blows there in autumn. 6 participants and us enjoyed cycling. 

11:30頃足利市の中心部にある「サイクルショップさかい」を出た私たちがまず向かったのは、ランチ場所の「福ろう」。

Departed a cycle shop at the center of Ashikaga, we bounded to the restaurant "Fukuro" ("Owl " in Japanese) to have a lunch.

メニューの中から、各々好きなものをオーダーしましたが、

人気だったのは、こちらの名物でもある魚料理、そして鳥鍋でした。

Each participant chose a menu as s/he like, but many of them ordered Chicken pots or Fish dishes. 

食事の後は、中里城跡、長林寺と自転車を走らせます。

After lunch, we cycled to the "Nakazato Castle Ruin".

中里城については不明な部分がまだ多く、土塁しか残っていないのですが、

案内の方々の温かいおもてなしを、みなさん喜んでいただけたと思います。

Unfortunately, only the base of castle remained there,

however, we were welcomed by volunteer tour guides.

渡良瀬川の長い橋を渡ります。

We crossed the long bridge on the Watarase river.

長林寺では、習字のパフォーマンスが行われていました。

We saw a Japanese calligraphy show inside the Chorinji Tenple.

庭のもみじが、とにかく美しい！

A wonderful maple leaves in the garden of Chorinji Temple.

16:00前に「サイクルショップさかい」に到着。

所用時間は約4時間、走行距離は約15㎞でした。

We arrived at the cycle shop where we departed around 16:00.

We cycled for about 4 hours with 15km.
